Tired of Comparing Yourself? Here’s the Simple Shift That Will Set You Free
Comparison is a liar. It sneaks in and convinces you that someone else’s body, life, or success is the standard. That if you just looked like her, or had her life, you’d finally feel confident and content. But the truth? That’s not what God wants for you.
In today’s episode, I’m sharing a simple but powerful shift that helped me step out of the comparison trap and find peace with my body and my life. I’ll also share the drastic step I took that completely changed my mindset (and no, it’s probably not what you expect!).

Have you ever felt like your fitness journey is more about proving yourself than honoring God?
Maybe you catch yourself obsessing over the way you look, striving to hit new goals just to feel accomplished, or even comparing yourself to other women in the gym. It’s so easy to slip into that mindset—because that’s what the world tells us fitness is all about.
But what if I told you that your workouts were never meant to be about you? What if the pressure to measure up is actually keeping you from the freedom God wants for you?
In today’s episode, we’re breaking down how to shift from a self-focused fitness mindset to one that’s truly centered on God—so you can stop chasing external validation and start embracing the internal transformation He wants to do in you first.
We’ll talk about what it looks like to stay humble in your journey, remember God’s faithfulness, and trust that He’s the one producing your growth. If you’re tired of feeling like you’re never doing enough, this one’s for you.

Have you ever felt like the moment you try to step into God’s plan for your health—or your life in general—you’re met with resistance at every turn? Like the second you commit to doing things differently, doubt, frustration, and setbacks come out of nowhere?
That’s not a coincidence. The enemy doesn’t want you to find freedom. He wants to keep you stuck in old patterns, questioning if God’s way is really worth it.
In today’s episode, we’re breaking down how to recognize the enemy’s schemes, stay firm in God’s direction, and keep moving forward—even when it feels hard.
We dive into real-life examples like one of my clients who felt tempted to rush through the process of transformation by reverting to old habits. But she recognized this was the enemy trying to hold her back from stepping into the freedom God had planned for her. We also explore the importance of trusting God’s timing, staying humble, and letting Him do the deep heart work before any real change happens.
You’ll hear:
How the enemy tries to hold us back from following God’s direction
What to do when opposition arises in your health, fitness, or life
Practical tips to stay rooted in God’s plan, like putting on the full armor of God, fervent prayer, and finding wise counsel
Real stories of women who are learning to trust God’s process over the world’s quick fixes

Has God ever called you to something specific, something that you can’t deny is a divine appointment, and you feel absolutely inadequate to accomplish it?
You find yourself asking God, “Are you sure?”
“Do you have the right person because there’s no way I can do that!”
We’ve all struggled with these feelings of inadequacy at some point in our lives. We want to pursue God’s calling for us in our careers, fitness, motherhood, and every other area of our lives. But, when God’s plan looks different than ours, we often doubt if it’s truly the path we should take. We doubt our abilities and begin to wonder if we can actually accomplish what he desires of us.
This leads us to struggle with self-doubt. We feel like we don’t have enough - enough time, enough talents, enough resources, enough ability. We tell ourselves we don’t have what it takes to do what God is asking of us. We feel like we just can’t measure up.
In today’s episode we’re discussing how to surrender to God instead of relying on our own strength. When we do this, God takes what we have and multiplies it, making it more than sufficient for His purposes.
If you’ve ever felt inadequate or unsure of how to accomplish the plans God has called you to, then give this episode a listen. You’ll walk away empowered and renewed in God’s strength!
